Poem 184 of 365/I got you

I got you

When the world crumbles around me, and I feel lost unsure of what to do,
I embrace myself in the idea of your kisses pulling me through.

When weaken under the pressures of unemployment and worry turns my bright smile blue,
you take your finger and draw love across my face whispering baby "I got you".

When pieces of frustration flake off the vibrations of this beating heart, and my happiness and soul seems miles apart,
You hold me to squeeze out eternity while encouraging the best of me, to be me for me.

When all things seem lost and I ache over the way I wake...I smile because "I got you".
When reality and dreams confuse me to such extremes...I calm the waters down because "I got you", to pull me through.
